1. Cookies, scripts and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored by the browser. Local storage can remember information without using a traditional cookie. Scripts are code used to make a website function. Web beacons or pixels can be used for tracking, but the current Prode Tours website does not activate advertising pixels or profiling technologies.
2. Current consent configuration
The current website uses only technical storage and normal network requests required to provide the requested functions. It does not activate analytics, profiling, retargeting or advertising cookies. For this reason, the current version does not display a cookie-consent banner.
If non-essential cookies, embedded marketing content, analytics or advertising pixels are added later, they must remain disabled until the visitor has made a valid choice. This policy and the consent interface must then be updated.
3. Technical storage currently used
| Technology | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID | Created only when the contact form is submitted. It supports a short anti-abuse rate limit and form security. | First-party technical session cookie | Browser session |
prodetours-language | Remembers the language selected by the visitor. | First-party browser local storage | Until deleted from the browser |
4. Hosting and technical logs
The website is hosted through Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS infrastructure may generate normal server, security and request logs containing technical information such as IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser information and security events. These records are not used by Prode Tours for advertising or user profiling.
Technical logs are to be configured for a normal maximum retention of 30 days, unless a longer period is necessary to investigate a security incident, prevent abuse or comply with a legal obligation.
5. Interactive maps and external resources
Experience pages load Leaflet resources from the unpkg content-delivery network, map tiles from OpenStreetMap and road-route calculations from the public OSRM service. Loading those resources creates direct network requests to the relevant provider and may transmit the visitor’s IP address and browser/request information.
Prode Tours does not use these map services for advertising or profiling. Their own technical rules and privacy notices may apply.
6. External social and communication links
The website contains links to WhatsApp, Instagram, WeChat and Google. In the current build these are ordinary external links rather than embedded social-media feeds or advertising widgets. Prode Tours does not place social-platform cookies merely because the links are displayed. When a visitor selects a link, the external platform opens and its own cookies and privacy rules may apply.
7. Services listed in the previous WordPress policy
The previous website policy listed Complianz consent cookies, Google Fonts, Google reCAPTCHA, YouTube embeds, Facebook content, WhatsApp embedded functions and possible analytics cookies. Those services and cookies are not loaded by the current static website and are therefore not included as active technologies in the table above.
If any of those tools is reintroduced, a technical scan and consent assessment must be completed before publication.
8. Managing and deleting storage
Browser settings can be used to delete cookies and local-storage data or to block future storage. Blocking the technical session cookie may interfere with contact-form protection. Deleting the language preference restores the default language selection.
9. Rights and contact
Where technical information constitutes personal data, the rights described in the Privacy Policy apply. Questions or requests can be sent to Info@prodetours.com or by PEC to prodetours@legalmail.it. A complaint may also be submitted to the Italian Data Protection Authority.
